The photo on the left is the MHS class of 1929. My father is J. Edmon Cheek. He was a career Army officer and we lived all the world. But Dad always attended the alumni association meetings anytime we were within driving distance until he died in 1977. I attended elementary school in Mangum in the 2nd and 3rd grade while Dad was in Korea in 1952-54. If I had stayed in Mangum, I would have graduated with the class of '63. But Dad retired in Midwest City, so I am a MCHS Bomber instead of a MHS Tiger. I still live in Midwest City and make occasional trips to Mangumto keep in touch with the family roots. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

The photo on the right is of students at MHS sometime around 1932. I'm guessing at the date because my aunt, Cleta Belle Cheek, is in the middle (3rd row with hat and scarf). She would have been 18 in the fall of 1932. My other aunt, Rubye Monette Cheek is on her right and would have been 16. I don't know any of the others in the photo.
